So yes i finally have a wreck this journal!! I obviously haven't started yet but i am soooo excited to start it! I will keep putting up pictures of it when i complete pages. :)

Castles

I did a series of Splatter Paintings. I did four of the disney castles, Snow White's, Aurora's, Rupunzelle's and Cinderella's. Tangled

Does anyone else like the movie tangled? Well if you don't this may not be the post for you.
My favourite scene is the one where Rapunzelle and Flynn Rider are in the boat with all the lanterns around them. I decided that this was the perfect scene to paint in watercolour. I painted the background itself and let it dry. I used orange and black. Then i painted a silhouette of the boat in black. I then painted the lanterns. To do this i painted the lanterns white and put in dots of orange and pink (they blended really nicely while drying) i then sprayed white paint onto the page used a tooth brush. It turned out like this.. And i love it. This is also the first painting done on proper watercolour paper. I prefer it to printing paper.

Ummmmmmm....... Sorry about that last post...... Back to Art/creativeness. My Mum's Birthday is on the 19th of May and I really didn't know what to make her...... so i started with the card. I made a design thing to go on the front. And i did this on Picmonkey.

Then I bought canvas from paper plus. The canvas was 10" by 10". I painted it orange and put a cute mum quote on it.... "Home is Where my Mum is." and i did this in white acrylic paint. And my mum absolutely adored it.

So yes I know this has nothing to do with anything but..... my next door neighbor has a whole lot of cats. And maaaan they are the cutest things in the world!! let me show you some...
